Ramesh Babu Kannekanti (b.1961, Hyderabad, India) is India based Artist of repute. Their works with the meticulous skill of black ink with faultless draftsmanship and wielding the paint brush with water color and other mediums, Ramesh Babu sets out to recreate the magic of Indian culture, lifestyle and many other aspects on canvas. Most of their works depict the the rustic essence of different regions of India as creatively perceived by the artist.

While the artist experiments with ink, acrylic and water colors on canvas, they also strike a chord with tools as simple as marker pens on paper. Their splendid attempts to capture the life and emotions of the Indian culture on canvas usually praised as “Must see“, “Joyfully coy”, “Beautiful perspective”, “Corn charm” and so on.

Ramesh Babu is also a traditional Sculptor. He had exhibited his paintings on many occasions and won several awards and recognition. Also worked as a Senior Photo journalist, they have three decades of experience in the field which includes a valuable 24 Years of work experience with ‘The Hindu’ which is India’s best selling English newspaper and earlier, six years with the Eenadu and Newstime.
